The outstanding success of
City Montessori School
ex-student, Ms Priti Sharma
who secured 2nd position in
PCS examination added a new
chapter in CMS educational
history. The results of PCS
Exam 2005 have been declared
recently. Ms Priti Sharma
gives all credit for her
outstanding success to the
peaceful and inspiring
atmosphere of CMS and to her
parents. This meritorious
student feels that for
achieving outstanding
success in life and
attaining our goals, the
educational environment of
the City Montessori School
is the major factor. This
brilliant student of CMS met
the press reporters today at
a press conference held here
along with the CMS Founder,
Shri Jagdish Gandhi and
Principal of CMS Station
Road, Mrs Aruna Gupta and
gave them detailed
information abut the same.
Addressing the press
reporters, Priti said that
the CMS philosophy and
environment has always been
a source of inspiration for
her. She said that every
person has great potential
and if he or she determines
and makes continuous effort
to forge ahead, backed by
inspiration from parents and
elders, then there is no
stopping in realizing one's
aim in life and achieving
success.
Addressing he press
reporters, Priti Sharma said
that in 1997, she
passed the ISC examination
(class XII) will 93% marks
in aggregate. Earlier, she
passed Class XI from CMS
Aliganj Branch with high
percentage of marks. Ms
Priti Sharma said that she
had taken her favourite
subjects Geography and
Public Administration as her
optional papers for the PCS
examination. Besides, she
also kept abreast with the
current affairs and liked to
read books of general
knowledge. Various global
problems, the present world
situation and their peaceful
solutions are all an
integral part of education,
she believes. She insists
that for excellence in
education, it is not the
quantity but the quality of
time that one puts in that
really counts.
Interestingly, she prepared
for the PCS examination even
while working at the
Manager, IT Dept. in
Hazratganj Branch of
Allahabad Bank and still
succeeded in securing the
second position. Priti's
other interests are sports,
exercise, yoga and music.
For her brilliant success,
Priti gives due credit to
the inspiring guidance of
the then Principal of CMS
Station Road, Mrs. Devaki
Vivek.
Giving information about her
family background, Priti
Sharma disclosed that
her father, Mr K K
Sharma has retired as Chief
Environmental Engineer from
UP Pollution Board. He
continually motivated all
his four daughters to aim
high and work hard and
provided them an educational
environment at home. Priti's
mother, Mrs. Shubhlata
Sharma, who has done M.A. in
Sanskrit and B.Ed. has been
a teacher. Now she is a
housewife. On this
occasion, the Principal of
CMS Station road, Mrs Aruna
Gupta said that
each and every student of
her branch is feeling proud
of the great achievement of
Priti who has brought glory
to the institution. She
wishes Priti all the best in
life.
Congratulating the parents
of Priti Sharma on this
occasion, Founder-Manager of
CMS, Mr Jagdish Gandhi said
that CMS is
imbibing great values of
'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' and
World Citizenship in its
students because it aims at
making each child the light
of the world and a pride of
the human race. He said that
CMS students are bringing
laurels to the institution
at regular intervals with
their unparalleled
achievement and are
spreading their light in the
entire world.
Chief
Public Relations Officer of
CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma said
that CMS education
does not merely aim at
preparing children for
obtaining good marks but it
is also preparing them for
the life. He said that here
students are apprised of
various global problems and
a global outlook is
developed in them which will
prepare them as good
administrative officers. He
said that free coaching
classes for IAS and PCS
examinations are held at CMS
Degree College, Kanpur Road.
It is due to these efforts
that CMS students are
achieving new milestones of
success everyday, he added.
Only in the year 2008, its
three meritorious students
of CMS have created a record
by being selected in the IAS
examination. Ms Priti Sharma
has added to this record by
securing the second position
in the entire state in the
PCS examination. Our
students have thus brought
laurels to the institution
in the whole of the country
by three of them being
selected in IAS and one in
PCS examination. Mr Sharma
informed that the mothers of
all these four students will
be specially honoured at a
grand CMS ceremony to be
held on 28 June 2008. Their
fathers will also be
felicitated in a special
way. |
