CMS observes
International Family
Day as 'Family Unity
Year'

Montessori School will
observe International
Family Day, tomorrow on
15 May as 'Family Unity
Year'. This information
was given by renowned
educationist and Founder
of CMS, Mr Jagdish
Gandhi in the press
conference being held
today. Mr Gandhi said
that we all need unity,
peace, tranquillity and
prosperity which come
out from the family the
smallest yet the most
important unit of social
growth. Each and every
person of our country
and the globe must
acknowledge the fact
that only family unity
can make the dream of
world unity and world
peace come true. Keeping
this in view CMS family
has decided to observe
the new academic year as
'Family Unity Year'.
Addressing the
journalists, Mr Gandhi
said that CMS believes
that family plays the
most important role in
social upliftment of the
world. Family unity is
the pivot of world unity
and is necessary for the
balanced growth of a
child. Mr Gandhi said
that disintegration,
anguish and tension in
family have become
prevalent in modern age
which is very harmful
not only for the
children but for the
entire society, country
and world. Six member
delegation representing
35000 children of CMS
and teacher-guardian
would also attend the
press conference.
Mr Gandhi said that CMS
is going to organize a
number of events in the
coming academic session
to spread the message of
'family unity' in the
whole world. Throwing
light on the necessity
of 'Family Unity Year',
Mr Gandhi mentioned that
on 20 September 1993,
the General Assembly of
United Nations
Organization has passed
a resolution no. 47/237
by which all the member
countries have agreed
upon observing 15 May as
'International Family
Day' every year. Mr
Gandhi said that during
'Family Unity Year' CMS
would keep special
functions and weigh its
teachers and guardian
with fruits and flowers.
Apart from this CMS has
engaged one
teacher-guardian for
every five students who
would visit their homes
to explain the
importance of 'family
unity' to their parents
and establish a good
rapport between them and
the school. Mr Gandhi
said that 'Divine
Education Conferences'
will also be held in
each class of every
campus of CMS and
efforts would be made to
spread the message of
family unity in the
whole world by taking
out 'Prabhat Pheri and
Unity March.
Mr Gandhi further added
that although CMS
already promotes 'family
unity' by organizing
over 24 international
events but this year
special emphasis would
be laid on the
programmes promulgating
the message of family
unity. Mr Gandhi said
that CMS understands its
moral responsibility to
upgrade social
environment and hence
has taken this step for
'Family Unity Year', so
that the youth and
children make a clean,
healthy and prosperous
society. He expressed
apprehension that if
essential steps are not
taken now to curb this
family disintegration
then it would be too
late for that as it
would become an
epidemic.
In the conference, the
six member delegation of
CMS Station Road of
class XII under the
leadership of their
Principal Mrs Aruna
Gupta, raised their
voice on behalf of 35000
students of CMS, and
said that if they get
ideal atmosphere at
school and home then
they would not go
astray. We are thankful
to CMS as it guides even
our family members
besides imparting moral
and divine education to
us. Eeti Agarwal of
class XII said that the
foundation of world
family can be laid only
by conjoining family,
parents and teachers.
Anubha Tiwari said that
the school should act as
the light house of
society and give
meaningful education,
divine direction and
guidance and hence a
better understanding
among them can unite
them. Rishabh Dheer said
that we at the CMS will
not only wipe out the
differences and unite
the family but also
endeavour to unite the
global family.
Similarly, Chetan Mishra
and Monica Mishra said
that if the family is
strong then society and
country will also be
strong and the world
will progress. It will
further strengthen the
world unity. Udit
Pridhnani quoted Jim
Rohn and said that 'we
must cultivate our
family as a garden so
that any relation can
flourish and prosper.
Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief
Public Relations Officer
of CMS said that for the
past 50 years, CMS has
been imparting education
based on 'Vasudhaiv
Kutumbkam' the great
Indian cultural imbued
with divine love,
advocating that the
whole world is but one
family and our
institution has reached
to this height owing to
this principle. Mr
Sharma said that in the
form of 'Family Unity
Year' the new academic
session of CMS would
incorporate several
educative programmes and
many inspirational
programmes would be
broadcast on educational
FM Radio of CMS and the
films based on 'family
unity' would also be
screened for students,
teachers and parents.
The films full of
character, humanistic
and moral values will
also be screened for the
children, teachers and
parents of other
schools, free of charge.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय परिवार

15 मई को अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय
परिवार दिवस को
‘पारिवारिक एकता वर्ष’ के
रूप में मनाएगा। उक्त
जानकारी आज यहां आयोजित
एक प्रेस कान्फ्रेन्स में
विद्यालय के संस्थापक व
प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद् श्री
जगदीश गाँधी ने पत्रकारों
को दी। श्री गाँधी ने कहा
कि एकता, शान्ति,
अमन–चैन, खुशहाली सभी
चाहते हैं लेकिन इसकी
शुरुआत होती है सामाजिक
विकास की सबसे छोटी व
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण इकाई
परिवार से। यह बात हम सभी
को, सारे देश व विश्व के
नागरिकों को समझनी होगी
कि पारिवारिक एकता के
बलबूते ही विश्व एकता व
विश्व शान्ति का सपना
साकार हो सकता है। इसी
उद्देश्य को ध्यान में
रखते हुए सी.एम.एस.
परिवार ने नये शैक्षिक
सत्र को ‘पारिवारिक एकता
वर्ष’ के रूप में मनाने
का निर्णय लिया है।
पत्रकारों को सम्बोधित
करते हुए श्री गाँधी ने
कहा कि सी.एम.एस. का
मानना है कि परिवार की
विश्व समाज के उत्थान में
सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण
भूमिका है। परिवारिक एकता
ही ‘विश्व एकता’ की धुरी
है, साथ ही साथ बालक के
संतुलित विकास के लिए भी
यह अनिवार्य है। श्री
गाँधी ने कहा कि
पारिवारिक विघटन व
पारिवारिक क्लेश व तनाव
वर्तमान परिवेश में आज आम
बात हो गई है जो कि न
सिफर् बच्चों के लिए
अपितु सारे समाज, देश व
विश्व के लिए सबसे अधिक
हानिकारक है। प्रेस
कान्फ्रेन्स में
सी.एम.एस. के 35000
छात्रों के छ: प्रतिनिधि
छात्र व टीचर–गार्जियन भी
उपस्थित थे।
श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि
‘पारिवारिक एकता’ का आलोक
सारे विश्व में फैलाने के
लिए सी.एम.एस. द्वारा
आगामी नये शैक्षिक सत्र
में अनेक कार्यक्रमों का
आयोजन किया जायेगा।
‘पारिवारिक एकता वर्ष’ के
महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते
हुए श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि
संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ की
जनरल एसेम्बली ने अपने
दिनांक 20 सितम्बर 1993
को सर्वसम्मति से
प्रस्ताव संख्या 47/237
को पास किया है जिसमें
सभी सदस्य देशों में
प्रतिवर्ष 15 मई को
‘अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय परिवार
दिवस’ के रूप में मनाने
की बात स्वीकार की गयी
है। श्री गाँधी ने कहा
‘पारिवारिक एकता वर्ष’ के
दौरान सी.एम.एस. विशेष
कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर
अपने शिक्षकों व
अभिभावकों को फल व फूलों
से तौलकर सम्मानित करेगा।
इसके अलावा सी.एम.एस. ने
प्रत्येक पाँच बच्चों पर
एक टीचर–गार्जियन नियुक्त
किया है जो छात्रों के
घर–घर जाकर उनके
माता–पिता व विद्यालय के
बीच सामन्जस्य बनायेंगे,
साथ ही ‘घर व विद्यालय से
बढ़कर कोई न तीरथ धाम’ के
महत्व को बतायेंगे। श्री
गाँधी ने इसके अलावा
सी.एम.एस. की प्रत्येक
शाखा एवं प्रत्येक
कक्षाओं में ‘आध्यात्मिक
शिक्षा सम्मेलनों’ का
आयोजन भी किया जायेगा,
साथ ही साथ विभिन्न
अवसरों पर प्रभात फेरी व
एकता मार्च के माध्यम से
भी ‘पारिवारिक एकता’ का
आलोक सम्पूर्ण विश्व में
प्रवाहित करने का प्रयास
किया जायेगा।
श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि
वैसे तो सी0एम0एस0
प्रत्येक वर्ष लगभग 24
अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय आयोजनों
के माध्यम से ‘पारिवारिक
एकता’ को बढ़ावा देता आ
रहा है किन्तु इस वर्ष इन
सभी आयोजनों में
‘पारिवारिक एकता’ का
संदेश देते कार्यक्रमों
को और अधिक वरीयता दी
जायेगी। श्री गाँधी ने
कहा कि सामाजिक उत्थान के
अपने नैतिक दायित्व को
समझते हुए सी.एम.एस. ने
‘पारिवारिक एकता वर्ष’ का
यह कदम उठाया है, जिससे
समाज को प्रत्येक नागरिक
किशोर एवं युवा छात्रों
के मार्गदर्शक बने और एक
स्वच्छ, स्वस्थ तथा
चारित्रिक गुणों से
ओतप्रोत समाज का निर्माण
करें। उन्होनें चिन्ता
जतायी कि पारिवारिक विघटन
का विकृत स्वरूप रोकने
हेतु यदि तत्काल कदम नहीं
उठाये गये तो ऐसी नाजुक
स्थिति में यह विकृत रूप
और अधिक गहरी जड़ जमा
लेगा जिसे उखाड़ना भविष्य
में नामुमकिन हो जायेगा।

रोड के कक्षा–12 के छ:
छात्रों ने अपनी
प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती
अरुणा गुप्ता के नेतृत्व
में विद्यालय के 35000
छात्रों की ओर से एक स्वर
से आवाज उठाते हुए कहा कि
यदि घर व स्कूल दोनों ही
जगहों पर हम बच्चों को
उच्च आदर्शों से परिपूर्ण
वातावरण मिले तो कोई भी
छात्र गलत राह पर नहीं जा
सकता है। हम सी0एम0एस0 के
शुक्रगुजार हैं जो हमें
नैतिक एवं आध्यात्मिक
शिक्षा तो देता ही है,
साथ ही साथ हमारे
परिवारवालों का भी
मार्गदर्शन करता है। इन
छात्रों का कहना था कि
यदि हमारा परिवार सुदृढ़
होगा तो कोई भी ताकत हमें
पथभ्रष्ट नहीं कर पायेगी।
कक्षा–12 की छात्रा इति
अग्रवाल ने कहा कि
परिवार, माता–पिता एवं
शिक्षकों से जुड़कर ही
विश्व परिवार की नींव रखी
जा सकती है। अनुभा तिवारी
ने कहा कि विद्यालय को
समाज के प्रकाश स्तम्भ की
तरह काम करते हुए सार्थक
शिक्षा, आध्यात्मिक दिशा
एवं नेतृत्व प्रदान करना
चाहिए एवं माता–पिता एवं
समाज में बेहतर सामन्जस्य
ही सभी को एकता के सूत्र
में पिरो सकता है। रिशभ
धीर ने कहा कि हम
सी.एम.एस. के छात्र
विसंगतियों को दूर कर न
सिफर् परिवार को एक
करेंगें अपितु विश्व
परिवार को भी एक करने का
प्रयास करेंगे। इसी
प्रकार चेतन मिश्रा एवं
मोनिका मिश्रा ने कहा कि
यदि परिवार सुदृढ़ होगा
तो समाज और देश भी मज़बूत
होगा और विश्व भी आगे
बढ़ेगा। इससे विश्व एकता
को बल मिलेगा। उदित
पृधनानी ने ‘जिम रॉन’ का
उद्धृत करते हुए कहा कि
अपने परिवार को एक बगीचे
की तरह विकसित करना चाहिए
ताकि कोई भी रिश्ता
फलता–फूलता एवं बढ़ता
रहे।
सी.एम.एस. के मुख्य

हरि ओम शर्मा ने कहा कि
सी0एम0एस0 पिछले 50
वर्षों से ईश्वरीय प्रेम
से ओतप्रोत भारतीय
संस्कृति के महान आदर्श
‘वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्’
अर्थात सारा विश्व एक
परिवार है पर आधारित
शिक्षा छात्रों को दे रहा
हैं एवं इन्हीं महान
आदर्शों पर चलते हुए ही
इस संस्था ने इतनी प्रगति
की है। श्री शर्मा ने
बताया कि ‘पारिवारिक एकता
वर्ष’ के रूप में सिटी
मोन्टेसरी स्कूल का नया
शैक्षिक वर्ष नये कलेवर
से ओतप्रेात होगा जिसमें
विभिन्न शिक्षात्मक
कार्यक्रमों के अतिरिक्त
सी0एम0एस0 के शैक्षिक
एफ0एम0 रेडियो पर भी
पारिवारिक एकता को बढ़ावा
देने वाले प्रेरणादायी
कार्यक्रमों का प्रसारण
किया जायेगा, साथ ही
छात्रों, शिक्षकों,
अभिभावकों को ‘पारिवारिक
एकता’ से परिपूर्ण
फिल्में भी दिखाई
जायेंगी। इसके अलावा अन्य
विद्यालयों के छात्रों,
अध्यापकों व अभिभावकों के
लिए उच्च चारित्रिक व
नैतिक शिक्षा से परिपूर्ण
फिल्मों का नि:शुल्क
प्रदर्शन किया जायेगा।
