ISC Board Examinations 2007.

record number of 399 CMS
students qualified for admission
to various Engineering, Medical
and Professional Colleges in
India and abroad in 2007.
Since 1990, an unprecedented
number of 3,519 CMS students
have qualified for admissions to
various Engineering/Medical and
other professional courses in
India and abroad.
CMS
students have achieved
outstanding success in several
international Maths, Computer,
Science and Robotics Olympiads.

National Talent Search
Scholarship (NTS), of the 566
selections from Lucknow.

students were from CMS. This
number represents nearly two and
a half of the total number of
selections from all of Lucknow
schools combined and the largest
from any school in India.
At
the Commonwealth International
Essay competition organised by
the Royal Commonwealth Society,
London, essays of 6 CMS students
were awarded commendation
certificates.

students of Class VIII from CMS
were awarded the National Talent
Search Merit Scholarships in
2007 out of a total of 54(27
students of Class X and 27
students of Class VIII) students
selected from the whole of
Lucknow. They receive a merit
scholarship of Rs. 500/- pm
awarded upto research level.

students were selected for the
coveted Singapore Airlines Merit
Scholarship worth approximately
Rs.12 lakhs each. 52 CMS
students have been selected for
this highly coveted scholarship
up till now.

several peace marches in
sensitive areas of Lucknow and
appealed directly to the people

When Jagdish Gandhi and his wife
Bharti founded the City
Montessori School (CMS) with a
borrowed sum of Rs 300, they
could find no student. A
fortnight later, a neighbors
agreed to send her five
children. Thus, the school
opened on July 1, 1959. Today,
with more than 31,000 pupils, it
is world largest school as per
Guinness Book of Records.. |
